Job Title: OR Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 5/8s Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0645-1515) with call Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Strong orthopedic skills - Experience in a variety of cases, including orthopedics and podiatry, general, GYN, robotics, and spines - Ability to scrub Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The team operates in a suite of nine rooms, utilizing six for procedures. Approximately 15 cases are managed each day, with the possibility of add-ons. The position requires strong orthopedic skills, and preference will be given to those with robotic experience or a willingness to learn. Call involvement is essential, with one shift required on weekdays and a rotating schedule for weekends, typically covering one weekend per month. The response time for call is 30 minutes. A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach are vital for success in this role. Scrubbing is required for this position. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment period. Charting is done using the EPIC system.
