Title Psychiatric Care Technician Location Northern VA Mental Health Inst Salary Starting Salary $43,130 Job Duties Provide basic life skills training, psychological support, and personal hygiene for adult patients in an inpatient mental health facility. Duties include treatment plan implementation emphasizing personal care and behavioral, physical, and psycho-social development with the goal of self-reliance of patients served. The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and good interpersonal skills. This is a multi-hire position. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. Additional Considerations Prior work experience providing customer service. A 2- or 4-year degree in health sciences or psychology. Prior work experience in a health-care setting.
