You'll work closely with managers and employees across the business, helping solve people challenges, improve processes, and deliver experiences that support growth. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we onboard, develop, engage, and support our people as we scale. Your ideas won't disappear into a committee, they'll help shape how we work. We're growing, evolving, and not everything is fully built yet. Some days you'll coach a manager through a complex employee relations issue. Other days you'll improve a people process, support a performance cycle, coordinate an employee experience initiative, or help an employee navigate an important life event. Enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing organization where priorities can evolve quickly Like creating structure, improving processes, and finding practical solutions Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Build trust quickly and become a valued partner to managers and employees Have strong judgment and know when to act independently and when to escape Stay calm and solutions-focused when things get busy or complex Care deeply about creating a positive employee experience Take ownership, follow through, and look for ways to make things better Are energized by growth, change, and the opportunities that come with building something What You'll Do: Partner with Managers and Employees Serve as the primary People Team partner for managers and employees across the business Provide practical, business-focused guidance on employee relations and people matters Coach managers through performance, development, team effectiveness, and challenging people situations Support employees through key career and workplace moments Conduct workplace investigations and help resolve employee concerns Manage leave and accommodation processes with empathy and compliance Drive Operational Excellence Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience Support benefits administration and employee inquiries Coordinate immigration processes and external partners Maintain people policies, employee records, and HRIS data integrity Support payroll governance and ensure accurate people administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Deliver Talent and Performance Programs Coordinate performance review and talent management cycles Support talent reviews and development discussions Administer promotion processes and employee development programs Partner with leaders to ensure people processes are delivered consistently and effectively Create Great Employee Experiences Execute employee engagement initiatives and programs Help create the experiences that make people want to join, grow, and stay with the company Support employee experience activities and key moments that matter Deliver internal people communications Support rewards and recognition communications Coordinate local office events and community-building activities What We're Looking For: Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in a People, HR, or related role Experience in consulting, professional services, technology, or another high-growth environment preferred Strong employee relations experience and the ability to navigate sensitive situations confidently Experience supporting managers through performance management and people challenges Working knowledge of employment law and people compliance requirements Experience administering people programs across the employee lifecycle Skills & Attributes Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Strong communication and coaching capabilities Sound judgment and discretion Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Comfortable working through ambiguity and change A practical, solutions-oriented approach Life at JMAN We're ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.
