WhatYou'llDo

The Warehouse Driver is the face of the World Electric, driving a company provided truck (24' state body truck) to transport materials to our valued customers. This position's responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers.

You will:

• Operate a motorvehiclein a safe manner, following all state and federal laws and regulations.

• Communicate with sales associates ormanagerthrough problem solving to meet customer needs.

• Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.

• Ensuretruck isin safe operating condition andmaintainsa clean appearance.

• Ability tofrequentlylift,carry,push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to50lbs.

• Load and unload trucks with equipment

• Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.

• Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.This includesfollowingSafety Procedures and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma orequivalent

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record Required

Requirements:

• Ability tofrequentlylift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.

• Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.

• Continuous mental and visual alertness tomaintainsafety and achieve accuracy.

• Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.

• Removing gates from flatbed trucks

• Occasionally,mayberequiredto lift items greater than 75lbs withassistance.

• Strongmath and reading skills
