Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Location and Schedule UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Days shift. Onsite role. Pay: $38.91 – $60.31 per hour, dependent on experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved for Registered/Professional Nursing. Preferred: BSN. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Six months of OR nursing experience (RN) or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a card in hand before start date. The card must be valid through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope nursing practice in direct patient care using the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness, perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Model proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care in perioperative, PACU, or operating room levels of care following AORN and ABPA core curriculum and certification standards. Collaborate with Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation during orientation.
