Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Front Royal, VA, requiring 2+ years of cath lab circulating and documentation experience with an active VA or Compact RN license. Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA only); no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment Minimum 2 years of cath lab circulating and documentation experience required Scrubbing experience preferred Epic EMR experience required US SSN required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible Responsibilities Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting in Front Royal, VA Patient population includes cardiac and peripheral vascular patients Patient ratio of 3:1 Procedures include diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) EMR: Epic (required) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts) No weekend or holiday requirements No on-call requirements No floating required Responsibilities include reviewing patient medical history and allergies, providing patient education, administering conscious sedation, assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cases, monitoring hemodynamics, and managing moderate to deep sedation Cath lab circulating and documentation experience must be clearly reflected in your work history to be considered for this position Scrubs are provided by the facility Dress code follows Valley Health system policy The Front Royal, VA area offers outdoor recreation, wineries, breweries, and cultural attractions including Shenandoah National Park and the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
