Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures./liliPerform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units./liliProcess films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures./liliCommunicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone./liliMaintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines./liliPromote effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent, required./liliSuccessful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required./liliCurrent license/certification in the state of practice, (if applicable) required./liliBasic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers, required/liliAt least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department, preferred./li/ulpLocation:/ppIntermountain Health Lutheran Hospital/ppWork City:/ppWheat Ridge/ppWork State:/ppColorado/ppScheduled Weekly Hours:/pp0/ppThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
