Description Memorial Hospital Req #: 69235 Nursing This is a Registered Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. The position is 5/8‑hour shifts Monday through Friday, 8‑4:30 pm. No weekends or holidays and no call. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 1‑2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience. Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full or part‑time RN position. The bonus amount is prorated for part‑time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth members are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are eligible only after a separation of more than 6 months. Summary The Registered Nurse – Endocrinology and Diabetes role provides high‑quality care to patients and families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians and advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care. MH RN II: This level is competent in the clinical role, capable of caring for most assigned patients. It requires the ability to obtain appropriate resources to develop skills and knowledge over time. Automatic advancement after 1 year as an RN I is included, provided the RN I requirements are met and the individual is in good standing. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current applicable state licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).
