Diesel Technician/MechanicCompletes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Ocala, FL.We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!Will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareThis position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
