Shift: Part-Time | Days | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM | 24 hours per week

- Assist patients with daily care needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety
- Partner with nurses and other healthcare team members to support patient care plans
- Obtain and document patient information, observations, and vital signs accurately
- Communicate important patient updates to the healthcare team in a timely manner
- Support patient safety initiatives and help maintain a safe care environment
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition or concerns promptly
- Provide compassionate, respectful service to patients and their families
- Contribute to smooth department operations through teamwork and collaboration
- Assist with patient observation and safety monitoring as needed
- Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
- Multicultural sensitivity.
- Microsoft Office - basic computer skills.
- Customer/patient focused.
- Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
- Capable of continuous monitoring of up to 15 patients on one screen at one time and remaining alert at all times while on duty.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset.
- Ability to communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes.
- Ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.
