Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Experience with psychological assessments, eligibility determinations, and IEP development
• Proficiency in counseling, intervention, and crisis response services within a K-12 setting
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support to educators, students, and families
• Familiarity with Special Education processes and laws

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for special education or behavioral concerns
• Participate in child study teams and assist with eligibility determinations for special services
• Develop and support implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive learning environments
• Respond to crises and provide guidance on intervention and prevention strategies
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation according to school and state requirements
