Information: All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Must have PALS or ENPC ACLS BLS TNCC NIHSS REQUIRED At least 2 years of ER Experience Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first) CEN Strong teamwork and communication skills Meditech experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certification Required: (RN): · ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Procedures performed on unit: Conscious Sedation Participate Intubations Behavioral Health Watch Sepsis Stroke (Tpa administration) Chest pain (Heart Alerts) Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o RN: Navy (undershirts and jackets white, navy, black only) Nail Policy – No acrylic, no longer 1⁄4 inch, clean, no chipped nail polish Hair – Off shoulders, natural color Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not fessible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited.
