Full Charge Bookkeeper

Company Description 7000 Island Boulevard Condominium Association Inc. is a residential community association located in Aventura, FL, serving homeowners in a premier high-rise environment. The Association is responsible for managing common areas, amenities, and shared services that support a high standard of living for residents. Operations include financial management, building maintenance coordination, and vendor relationships to ensure the property is well-maintained and compliant with applicable regulations. Team members work closely with residents, management, and service providers to sustain a professional, service-oriented atmosphere.

Role Description The Full Charge Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Aventura, FL, responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle for the condominium association. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate general ledger entries and reconciling bank and other account balances. The role oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable, processes assessments and fees, and coordinates payroll entries. The Full Charge Bookkeeper also assists with budget preparation, monitors expense allocations, prepares reports for management and the board, and collaborates with external auditors, vendors, and property management to ensure timely, accurate financial data and compliance with association policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets and reconciliations.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with management, residents, and vendors.
• Prior experience in property management, condominium associations, or real estate accounting is beneficial.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
