Medical Technologist Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a skilled Medical Technologist to support a busy laboratory environment in a Generalist capacity. This contract role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and offer comprehensive expertise across multiple laboratory disciplines.

Schedule:

• 6:00 pm 6:00 am shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 24-week assignment with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Current ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification (required)
• Valid State of Florida laboratory license (required)
• College diploma or official transcripts must be provided
• Demonstrated capability as a well-rounded, Generalist Medical Technologist
• Prior experience in a comparable hospital or clinical laboratory environment preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of laboratory tests with accuracy and in compliance with regulatory standards
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments and equipment
• Validate and record results, ensuring proper quality control protocols are followed
• Collect, process, and analyze specimens efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with fellow lab professionals, physicians, and healthcare providers to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement and uphold best practices within the laboratory

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
