Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity at Ascension Providence

Ascension Providence is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider for our Women's Health Clinic. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at AMG Providence Women's Health Center located in Waco, TX.

Position Highlights:

• Robust primary care
• General Women's Health
• Lab & Ultrasound in clinic
• Team of 9 physicians, 2 NP's and 1 PA
• Hospital rounding at Ascension Providence during the week

Responsibilities:

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

What minimum requirements you'll need:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
