This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.Primary Responsibilities:Shadow and participate in various types of client presentationsUtilize CRM and financial planning software systemsOpportunity to obtain e-Money CertificationShadow and assist Financial Advisors with preparation of financial documents and performance reportsHelp support the full financial planning process: discovery, data gathering, plan development, presentation, implementation, and ongoing reviewsAssist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of discretionary investment portfoliosLearn and implement basic and advanced income tax planning strategiesConduct independent research and build spreadsheets for financial planning opportunitiesWork with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projectsOther duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPAMajoring in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related business degreeBe proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsActively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experienceIdentify with Cerity Partner's mission and demonstrate our core valuesWhy Cerity Partners:Our people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
