Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Oversee labor and delivery processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Provide immediate care for newborns, addressing any immediate post-birth needs
• Handle high-risk labor cases with precision and care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Utilize advanced fetal monitoring equipment efficiently
• Support both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• NRP, BLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
• 2+ years of L&D experience, with high-risk experiences
• Proficiency in immediate newborn care
• Cerner EMR proficiency preferred
