Production Supervisor II - 2nd Shift - 2:00PM-10:30PM

An experienced Production Supervisor is needed in our food manufacturing facility to oversee production personnel, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Team Leadership: supervise, train, and motivate production staff, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. Production Oversight: monitor processes, ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards, coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics, and enforce safety protocols. Resource Management: assist in scheduling activities, allocate manpower, equipment, and materials, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction. Quality Assurance: conduct inspections, address deviations, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with quality control. Documentation & Reporting: maintain accurate records of production volumes, downtime, and quality metrics in Redzone; prepare performance reports and communicate status to management. Project Management: manage and assist with department projects to completion. Work Flexibility: accommodate non‑standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Job Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED (required). Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Management, or related field (preferred). Experience: 3–5 years supervisory role in food manufacturing or similar industry. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office and related applications. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Solid understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations in food industry. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Bilingual proficiency is a plus. Supervisory responsibilities include hiring, discipline, and performance realignment. Working Conditions & Physical Effort Daily exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, darkness, noise, and physical risks such as mechanical equipment, forklifts, chemical hazards, and electrical hazards. Physical effort includes carrying up to 50 lbs, kneeling, reaching, and walking around plant. Requires frequent desk work. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $71,880.00 – $127,599.00 (actual compensation may vary based on experience and location).
