Production Worker

We are seeking a reliable Production Worker to support warehouse and production operations in a refrigerated manufacturing environment. This role involves moving materials, preparing products for shipment, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring orders are handled accurately and safely.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production setting and is comfortable working in cold conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move products and materials throughout the facility using warehouse equipment
• Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently
• Stage, verify, and prepare orders for shipping
• Inspect products for quality and damage prevention
• Support inventory handling and material movement activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow company safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
• Work closely with team members to meet daily operational goals

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment
• Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing experience
• Experience with cherry pickers or similar warehouse equipment
• Familiarity with inventory staging and shipping processes
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment

Work Environment:

• Refrigerated production and warehouse areas
• Physical role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and material handling
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety and teamwork

Shift:

• 2nd shift (3 PM - Midnight)
• Mid shift (Noon - 9 PM)
• 3rd shift (8 PM - 5 AM)
• Sunday is an off day and there will be one more off day during the week, but they will work most Saturdays

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, MD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
