HousekeeperThe Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas and amenities within the community. The Housekeeper provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains cleanliness in common areas such as front entrance, service areas, lobbies, gym, social room, offices, garage levels and elevators.Removes litter, trash, and debris from all areas of the community including offices.Takes dumpsters out every Monday and Thursday and brings them in once they are emptiedCollects recycled waste from all floorsEmpties trash receptacles and waste baskets from entire community regularly, disposing of waste properly.Replenishes doggie stationClean pool area daily and keeps area organized at all timesVacuums, sweeps, polishes, and mops floors.Straighten furniture in common areas as needed.Dusts and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a neat and tidy appearancePolishes and cleans windows, glass doors, brass, mirrors, and the like to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks.Clean and disinfect employee break room areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.Restocks supplies such as toilet paper and soap dispensers as needed.Sanitizes all bathroom bowls, sinks, partitions and urinals daily and/or as needed.Clean and organize social room including restrooms, shower stalls, fitness equipment, storage roomsAssists with the setup, breakdown and cleaning of social room for Board meetingsMaintains supply and PPE's inventory and assists supervisor with ordering supplies as needed.Assists with hurricane preparation before, during and after a storm.Completes necessary checklists and/or work orders as assignedReport any equipment that is not working or malfunctioning and unsafe conditions to Management (i.e. lights out, trip hazards, electronic doors etc.)Maintains a safe and secure work environment throughout the building/property(s).Ensures all safety precautions are followed and proper usage of PPE's while performing duties.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalency preferred1+ year as a Houskeeper or similar positionSkills and AbilitiesSkilled in operating select mechanical and electrical equipment (i.e. vacuum, mops, leaf blower, pressure washer, etc.)Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required to understand cleaning and safety guidelines.Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to help create effective customer-focused relationships with all levels within the organizationAble to work under tight deadlines and use time effectively based on key prioritiesEffective verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of spoken and written.
