Accounts Payable Tech

Act as vendor contact person for BCFHCC and oversee office flow in processing payment of invoices and maintaining related documentation. Train new accounts payable staff and act as primary AP contact for all audit questions and/or requests. Duties and responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and processing vendor invoices for payment, matching them with the requisition form(s) and the Purchase Order(s); researching balance forward amounts reflected on the vendor statements for accuracy; attaching a copy of the check to the vendor invoice, purchase order and purchase requisition and filing; acting as vendor contact person for Communicare Health Centers as well as primary accounts payable contact for all audit questions and requests; providing excellent internal/external customer service; assisting the Purchasing Coordinator when necessary; and training new accounts payable staff.

Job qualifications include at least a high school diploma or GED, three years of accounts payable experience, typing 45 wpm, ten-key by touch, knowledge of bookkeeping and general office procedures, and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Physical activities and requirements include finger dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, visual acuity, and physical sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Education: High School/GED or better in General Business.
