Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Ongoing coverage starting ASAP (once credentialed); prefer weekdays; 2-3 24-hour shifts per month if possible; 24 hours off required between shifts
- Job Setting: Inpatient; Call Only (In-House); 16 labor/delivery/postpartum rooms; 1 OB dedicated OR
- Types of Cases:
- Low and high risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability)
- Routine deliveries - vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
- Complicated deliveries - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology - open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)
- Approximately 120 deliveries per month ( 1,400 per year); physicians perform approximately 65% of all deliveries
- Must be comfortable working with a midwife
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-120 days; temporary privileges available; Epic experience strongly preferred; call response time required: 30 minutes; provider may stay at hotel until called in
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required (ABMS or AOA)
- Licensure: Must be licensed in North Dakota only; IMLC not accepted
