Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overview
Join a well-established specialty clinic and support day-to-day patient coordination and procedure scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, detailed oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in surgery scheduling within an EMR/EHR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls professionally; provide excellent patient/customer service
- Schedule procedures/surgeries and coordinate related appointments
- Insurance verification and basic eligibility checks
- Chart preparation and documentation support prior to visits/procedures
- Coordinate with clinical staff/providers to ensure accurate scheduling and workflow
- Perform additional front office/administrative support as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual: English & Spanish (spoken and written) is required
- Prior surgery scheduling experience is required
- Experience working in a medical office using EMR/EHR
- Strong customer service mindset; friendly, professional communication style
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to provide two professional references
