Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Behavior Specialist or in a related behavioral support role within K-12 settings
• Background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), or equivalent methodologies
• Ability to design and implement effective behavioral intervention plans with measurable outcomes
• Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration and training for staff and families
• Relevant certification or licensure (such as BCBA, LBA, or School Psychologist certification) is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement strategies that foster a positive learning environment
• Provide support, resources, and training to staff on behavioral techniques and crisis intervention
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed, documenting outcomes and communicating updates to stakeholders
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
