Manhatta is a restaurant and full-service event space from Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, combining sky-high views with down-to-earth hospitality.Who you are:The Polisher is an important partner to our Kitchen team and is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and stocking all supplies and materials for service, such as china, glass, silver, and linens.What you'll do:Consistently support a culture of Enlightened HospitalityDemonstrates a willingness to support all team members with the ability to multitask while maintaining a calm demeanor on and off the floorEnsure all service stations are stocked, organized, and supplies are accessible to the Kitchen Service teamsCreate a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guestsCommunicates effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during serviceDemonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and growPerform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success.What we need from you:Experience in a restaurant support role within a full-service restaurant preferred, but not requiredEnglish fluency and additional languages preferred, but not requiredAbility to stand or walk long periods of timeAbility to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.What you'll get from us:At Union Square Hospitality Group, extending Enlightened Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.
