We are a state-of-the-art General Dentistry practice located in the busy South Loop area of Chicago, seeking an energetic Dental Assistant to join our medium-sized team of 4-6 members. This role involves high patient interaction in a dynamic environment where flexibility and collaboration are key. Our practice values thorough patient care and a hygienic, well-organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and dental instruments for procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and treatment rooms
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during examinations and treatments
• Support radiography procedures and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment scheduling
• Handle dental materials and manage inventory efficiently
• Implement strict infection control protocols
• Educate patients on dental care and post-treatment instructions
• Collaborate effectively with the dental team to optimize patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited dental assistant program
• CPR certification
• Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control procedures
• Strong skills in chairside assistance and sterilization techniques
• Excellent patient communication and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer proficiency
