Excellence in Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our well-established, patient-centered practice in Troy, Ohio. With over 52 years of serving our community and being voted Best Dental Practice in Miami County for 17 years in a row —along with winning Best Customer Service —we take pride in creating an exceptional experience for both our patients and our team.
We are searching for someone who is dependable, positive, detail-oriented, and passionate about dentistry. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working alongside a collaborative team, and want to grow in your career, we’d love to meet you.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Current Ohio radiography certification required
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Experience with digital x-rays and dental software
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy practice
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting doctors during a variety of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
• Taking digital radiographs and impressions/scans
• Educating patients on treatment and home care
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Supporting a smooth, efficient patient experience
