Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position with experience scrubbing spine, neuro, total joints, plastics, ENT, and DaVinci robotic cases.

Details

• Hospital surgical services department
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Schedule runs Sunday through Saturday
• Call requirements include 2 x 5-hour call shifts per week and 2 x 12-hour weekend shifts per 8 weeks
• Uses EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience required, with 6+ months continuous travel experience leading up to submission
• 1.5 years continuous specialty experience required with no breaks between units unless floating
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
• Experience scrubbing spine, neuro, total joints, plastics, ENT, and DaVinci robotic cases required
• Supervisory level professional reference required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Returning permanent staff and travelers eligible for rehire after 1 year
• Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional requests after submission
• No local candidates within 100-mile radius will be considered (exceptions may apply for LVN/LPN)
• Candidates on assignment in the area for 9+ months or longer are considered local and not eligible
• Interview availability required
