Audit ManagerLocation: Milwaukee, WI 53202 Work Model: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days in office – effective March 2026) Position Type: Full-Time The Audit Manager will lead financial statement audit engagements, overseeing multiple client teams and ensuring high-quality, on-budget delivery. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to build client relationships while driving engagement success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple financial statement audit engagements simultaneouslyOversee engagement teams to ensure audits are completed on time and within budgetReview audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and complianceCommunicate effectively with clients regarding engagement progress and expectationsIdentify and resolve technical accounting and audit issuesTrain, mentor, and evaluate staff and senior associatesSupport business development and proposal activitiesAct as a trusted advisor to clients on business and operational improvementsParticipate in recruiting and networking eventsEnsure compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standardsTravel as needed (~25%)Must-Have RequirementsActive CPA license (required)Minimum 1+ year experience at Manager levelPrior public accounting experienceStrong experience in financial statement auditsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standardsProven experience managing multiple audit engagementsStrong leadership, mentoring, and team management skillsExcellent analytical, technical, and auditing skillsStrong communication and client management skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsPCAOB audit experience (preferred)Experience with mid-to-large public accounting firmsExposure to audit automation and digitization toolsCore CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentClient relationship managementProblem-solving and analytical thinkingTime management and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong collaboration and communication skillsEducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (Required)
