Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Patient Ratio Experience of 1:2 for Labor, 1:3 for Antepartum Charting System Experience: Epic Description: QUICK START opportunity available. The position requires floating between units. Some weekend shifts are required. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are Labor 1:2 and Antepartum 1:3. Special requirements include experience in Acute Care High Risk Labor and Delivery, Antepartum care, Pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies. This is a Short Term Acute Care facility with trauma capabilities. Total staffed beds are 629. The facility averages 200-300 births per month. There is support from interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Daily census includes 9 deliveries with 25 delivery rooms. Special procedures for high-risk MFM patients are performed. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float could result in termination of the assignment. Work involves managing complex maternal health conditions. Candidates must adhere to specific compliance requirements during the onboarding process.
