This role is integral to supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our patients. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality.Position Highlights:Schedule - First shift, Monday-FridayNo weekends or holidaysComprehensive benefits package with generous PTOKey Responsibilities:Provide exemplary patient care by greeting and assisting patients upon arrival, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concernsEfficiently room patients and prepare them for examinations, accurately documenting medical histories and vital signs in EHRAssist healthcare provider during examinations and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocolsPerform wound care, including staple/stitch removals and dressing/re-dressing woundsManage patient communications, including scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries, while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanorCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and enhance overall operational efficiencyUphold a clean and organized work environment, adhering to established safety and infection control protocols
