SPANISH TEACHER

School Year 2026-2027 Assignments and Locations to be determined Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for Spanish teaching positions that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year. Please note this is a "continuous recruit posting" to build an applicant pool for all schools. As positions become available, all qualified applicants with complete application files will be considered. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with an appropriate endorsement to teach Spanish at the secondary level Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold a master’s degree in Education and/or the specific subject area Possess endorsement to teach dual enrollment courses FLSA: Exempt SALARY: $53,889.00 - $87,325.91 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience
