Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry services. Oversees patient assessments, implements care plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' cardiac status through continuous telemetry monitoring and data analysis.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, monitoring procedures, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and support team members.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior experience in acute or telemetry nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
