Cardiac Sonographer

Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized cardiac sonographic procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executes basic clinical competence in cardiac sonography in all locations across all patient types.
- Applies knowledge of cardiac sonography principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, physics, positioning and patient care skills.
- Documents accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
- Ensures a safe and appropriate work environment. Maintains supplies and inventory in area.
- Actively participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows, patient experience and quality.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved and accredited ultrasound educational program.
- No experience necessary.
Licensures/certifications:
- RDMS certification or CCI certification.
- Basic cardiac life support certification.
Pay range: $35.08-$52.64.
