QUALIFICATIONS:
SECURITY CLEARANCE: House Bill 1187 mandates that all certificated individuals new to the school system, after July 1, 1994, submit to fingerprinting and a criminal record check. The Camden County School System makes all employment decisions without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, religion or disability.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold an associate's degree or higher in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution. OR Have completed two 2 years of college coursework (sixty [60] semester hours) above the remedial level with a grade of "C" or better at a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution. OR Have passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment and hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Assist teacher with classroom activities; prepare class displays, bulletin boards, and other instructional materials. Assumes other responsibilities as the teacher may assign
- Participate in in-service school programs
- Maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding student and school system affairs
