Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Every 5th Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (Acute Care) | 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services in both outpatient and acute care settings
• Deliver orthopedic-focused outpatient rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist with patient evaluation, treatment planning, and progress documentation
• Document patient care accurately using an electronic health record system
• Participate in rotating weekend acute care coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
• Strong outpatient clinical skills with an emphasis on orthopedics
• Acute care experience sufficient to work comfortably in that setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Recent professional reference required for submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in both outpatient orthopedic and acute care environments simultaneously
• Familiarity with dress code standards in a clinical setting (navy scrubs or navy polo with khaki pants)
