If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummarySUMMARYThe candidate is responsible for providing nutritional care to patients through nutrition screening, assessment, counseling, metabolic monitoring, and communication with interdisciplinary team members.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESComplete initial nutrition assessments in accordance with departmental policies and guidelinesDevelop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans tailored to patientsEvaluate and monitor the effectiveness of Medical Nutrition Therapy interventions and follow up appropriatelyPerform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams to determine risk or degree of malnutritionAssess patients for food security and provide resources as appropriateWork with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient careProvide education to patients and families on nutrition recommendations while taking into consideration cultural needs and readiness to learnAttend interdisciplinary rounds or meetings assignedManage parenteral nutrition support for patientsParticipate in departmental Journal Clubs and education sessions to improve knowledge and skillsParticipate in quality and productivity improvement projectsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science in Nutrition from an accredited institutionMasters degree from an accredited institution if you became a dietitian after January 1st, 2024Registered by the Commission on Dietetic RegistrationLicensed by Georgia's State Board of Licensed Dietitians Commission on Dietetic RegistrationPERKS & BENEFITSCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Employee wellness programs and resources.Core CompetenciesThese competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
