Neonatology Physician

• Assignment Type: Locums
• Coverage Dates:
  • August 1-16 (8:00 AM) or August 16-September 1 (8:00 AM) (to accommodate credentialing)
  • September 1-13 (8:00 AM)
• Provider Preference: One provider to cover both date blocks preferred
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (24-hour coverage)
• Coverage Requirement: Must be available for either the August and/or September dates

• Board Certified in Neonatology: Required
• North Dakota Medical License: Highly Preferred
• IMLC Eligibility: Required if no North Dakota license
• Residency/Fellowship Training: Required
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • PALS

• Setting: Hospital NICU
• NICU Level: Level IIIB
• Responsibilities: Comprehensive Neonatology coverage
• Required Procedures: All procedures specific to Level IIIB NICU
• EMR: Epic

• Registered Nurses (RNs)
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) available 3:00 PM-7:00 AM, seven days per week

• Coverage needed due to physician leave for a family illness

• Board Certified Neonatologist
• Active North Dakota license or IMLC eligibility
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Experienced with Level IIIB NICU care and procedures
• Available to cover one or both requested date blocks
• Comfortable with 24-hour in-house coverage
