Remote Volunteer Fundraising Development Representative — Donor Outreach

REMOTE VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISING DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE — DONOR OUTREACH Help Believe in Me build relationships with prospective donors, sponsors, employers, foundations, alumni, and community supporters who can expand opportunities for youth and young people. About The Role The Fundraising Development Representative will provide relationship-building and prospect-development support for Believe in Me’s scholarships, education initiatives, community partnerships, youth programs, and volunteer work. Responsibilities Respond to and qualify fundraising, sponsorship, workplace-giving, and partnership inquiries. Research prospective donors, sponsors, employers, foundations, and community partners. Conduct respectful outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and approved channels. Maintain accurate contact notes, next steps, relationship maps, and follow-up schedules. Schedule introductory conversations for fundraising and organizational leaders. Support donor cultivation, sponsorship, matching-gift, volunteer-grant, and stewardship campaigns. Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, grants, events, board, finance, and program volunteers. Use donor and prospect information ethically and protect privacy. Ideal Experience Fundraising development, donor relations, business development, sales development, sponsorship, partnerships, customer success, or community engagement. Strong communication, research, organization, CRM discipline, and dependable follow-through are important. Time and Location Remote and flexible, approximately 2–3 hours per week. Ongoing participation is preferred. Impact and Support Your outreach will help fund scholarships, youth education, community partnerships, and programs that create opportunities for young people.
