MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Ohio. This role is focused on providing exceptional care to athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for on-site coverage at assigned schools and community events, focusing on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and conditioning program development in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree
• Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field
• Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience

Licensure/Certifications

• Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (BOC)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site athletic training services at designated schools and community events.
• Perform injury prevention, clinical evaluations, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with Premier Health standards.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with industry developments.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to raise awareness and educate others about sports medicine.
• Contribute to cost management efforts within the sports medicine department.
• Deliver excellent customer service to athletes and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the sports medicine team to enhance overall department effectiveness.
