Travel Physical Therapist, Acute Care Hospital - $2,438 per week

Job Summary Travel Physical Therapist assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. Start date July 27, 2026 for 13 weeks. 40 hours per week, 8 hour day shifts. Travel period. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE pass. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist or in the process of obtaining it. Current CPR certification. Additional client facility requirements may apply. Responsibilities Assess referred patients needing rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care. Develop and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
