Job Title: Forklift Operator
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Position Overview

Midway Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely moving product throughout the facility, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring error-free work. The ideal candidate will value attention to detail, demonstrate a commitment to safety, and continuously seek improvement by learning from mistakes and applying lessons learned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE, conducting pre-operational equipment checks, and promptly reporting hazards or incidents.

• Safely handle and store products to preserve quality and prevent damage.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to coordinate material movement and meet operational goals.

• Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Operate light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Forklift experience required.

• Valid forklift certification preferred.

• Ability to pass a background check with clear results.

• Ability to maintain a drug-free environment (safety-sensitive position).

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50+ pounds (team lifting and equipment provided as needed).

• Warehouse environment with potential exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, dust, and moving equipment.
