Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
• Location: Gilbert
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2300 to $2500

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Administer medications, moderate sedation, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as needed
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic monitoring equipment and cardiac rhythm systems
• Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patients for complications and respond promptly to emergent situations
• Provide post-procedure care, including sheath removal and access site management as required
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiology staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the facility

Requirements

• Active RN License in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Moderate Sedation experience preferred
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular procedures required
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered cardiovascular care
