JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate will teach business courses within the Business Administration management concentrations. In addition to providing high-quality instruction, the successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth and success of the department and College through curriculum development, assessment, accreditation activities, program review, student success initiatives, and other departmental and institutional priorities. Successful candidates will have a desire and demonstrated ability to work with undergraduate students from diverse cultures, disciplines, and academic backgrounds. Instructional Skills: Teach courses required to earn an Associate Degree in Business Administration with a major concentration in Management (i.e., courses with BUSN prefixes). Use innovative instructional strategies that support student success and recognize diverse learning styles. Contribute to a dynamic teaching/learning environment requiring adaptability, creativity, and teamwork. Course Management: Use technology to enhance instruction, complete administrative tasks, and communicate effectively with the students and the campus community. Create assessments that evaluate student learning outcomes. Curriculum Development: Use a student-focused approach to create meaningful educational experiences. Work collaboratively to develop curriculum in Management, with suggested areas including, but not limited to, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, Entrepreneurship, or Small Business Management Departmental Support: Participation in college and departmental activities, including committee work, assessment, and development of new course modalities. Participate in and provide leadership for the Department’s accreditation and quality assurance processes, as well as the College’s Academic Program Review (APR) process, including assessment, documentation, data analysis, continuous improvement, and preparation of required reports. Willingness to travel to multiple campus locations as required by department needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or higher in a business-related field Must be a Master's or Doctorate degree qualified to teach courses in Management curriculums according to the standards of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The CCRI Department of Business Administration is accredited by the ACBSP. The standards for accreditation of Associate Degree Schools and Programs can be found on the ACBSP website ( located at At least three years of college level teaching experience in Management At least five years’ work experience in the field of Management Proficiency in the use of current instructional and computer technology Experience teaching courses in an online format, compressed semesters and varying modalities or an interest in learning. Experience using technology to enhance instruction, manage classroom administrative tasks and communicate effectively with the campus community. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues. Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration (MBA) Preferred. Preferred experience in departmental accreditation and quality assurance processes, as well as Academic Program Review (APR).
