Solutions Architect, HRIS

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We seek 7+ years of HRIS experience, with a focus on Workday HCM modules and reporting in a technical and leadership capacity.
• We require 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and implementation experience.
• We need experience supporting and implementing multiple Workday HCM modules.
• We require experience as a solution architect, or in an equivalent role, on at least one full Workday HCM lifecycle implementation.
• We look for working knowledge of AI capabilities available in Workday.
• We value experience building scalable AI solutions with Workday and/or non-Workday platforms.
• We require reporting expertise, including the ability to build custom reports in native Workday and People Analytics.
• We need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions with minimal direct supervision.
• We require analytical thinking and the ability to apply logic effectively to solve issues.

• We prefer hands-on experience with Extend Pro and PRISM.
• We require a valid drivers license.

• We serve as strategic advisors to our People Group and other stakeholders, translating complex business needs into scalable solutions using Workday and related technologies.
• We partner with stakeholders to define problems, assess business impact, and align technology decisions with business priorities.
• We collaborate with cross-functional global teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows and data needs, and identify opportunities to improve people, process, and technology outcomes.
• We prioritize and refine requested enhancements and evaluate new project and product requests for strategic fit, technical feasibility, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
• We provide leadership on build-versus-buy decisions while balancing technical debt, scalability, and performance considerations.
• We act as a thought partner and mentor to team members, supporting a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• We design, develop, and oversee scalable configuration standards and solutions that improve automation, efficiency, and long-term growth.
• We ensure system and data integrity through expert configuration of security, business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and validations.
• We design and optimize data flows between Workday and internal systems to improve accuracy and process efficiency.
• We serve as subject matter experts in more than one Workday module, including HCM, Security, Learning, Absence, Compensation, Performance, Time Tracking, and Analytics.
• We configure Workday functionality based on business needs and best practices.
• We develop and execute test plans to protect system integrity and data accuracy.
• We design and deliver Workday Extend, PRISM, and Agentic AI solutions.
• We help shape the future HRIS architecture and roadmap, including Agentic AI capabilities and Built on Workday solutions.
• We evaluate and select best-in-class add-on products to improve the employee experience and manage the technology stack holistically.
• We monitor Workday platform health and user experience metrics to drive continual improvement and maximize business value.
• We participate in development, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Workday configurations.
• We assess the impact of major Workday releases, including feature adoption, regression testing, and stakeholder impact analysis.
• We support Workday integrations from an end-to-end design perspective.
• We manage lifecycle documentation, version control, and change processes across all modules.
• We stay current on changes affecting HR systems and recommend innovative improvements.
• We implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive employee information.
• We help ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations and policies in partnership with IT and legal teams.
• We support Workday architecture, configuration, and change management processes to meet SOX compliance and audit standards.
• We champion governance practices that balance flexibility with control across the Workday ecosystem.
