Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in behavioral interventions and behavior support plans
- Previous experience with K-8th grade student populations preferred
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong organizational skills for effective caseload management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for exceptional collaboration with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to support student learning, adjustment, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement targeted behavioral interventions and support strategies
- Take part in general case management, including maintaining records, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Offer guidance and consultation to teachers, families, and support staff regarding behavioral or social-emotional concerns
- Contribute actively to a safe and inclusive school environment
