What You'll Be Doing

As a Commercial Service Technician , you'll inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial roofing, siding, and sheet metal systems for customers throughout Wisconsin. Every day brings something different as you diagnose issues, solve problems, and help customers protect their buildings.

You'll work with systems including:

• Commercial roofing systems
• Commercial siding systems
• Sheet metal components
• Flashing
• Gutters and downspouts
• Trim and edge metal
• Sealants and waterproofing systems

Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting commercial roofing, siding, and sheet metal systems.
• Diagnosing leaks, water intrusion, and exterior building issues.
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Installing or replacing roofing, siding, flashing, gutters, trim, and sealants.
• Reading work orders, drawings, and project plans.
• Safely operating hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other construction equipment.
• Communicating professionally with customers, project managers, and coworkers.
• Documenting completed work and repair recommendations.
• Following OSHA regulations and Wenger Construction safety standards.
• Representing Wenger professionally on every jobsite.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• At least 2 years of construction experience .
• Commercial roofing and/or siding experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial building exteriors is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.
• A positive attitude, dependable attendance, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Wisconsin.

Pre-Employment Requirements

This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely performing physically demanding work.
