Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Fort Wayne, IN, requiring a minimum of 3–5 years of cath lab experience and an active Indiana or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift position, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Role focuses on monitoring, sedation, and hemodynamics in the cath lab
• On-call required one day per week and every 5th weekend
• EMR systems used: Cerner and MAC Lab (hemodynamics)
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 3–5 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
• Critical care background with cardiac cath lab experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform patient monitoring, conscious sedation, and hemodynamic assessment in the cardiac cath lab
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• 13-week contract
