Collections Manager - Legal Services

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Manger of Collections with expertise within the Professional Services industry.Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage Collection activities for domestic and international accounts
• Prepare and present revenue projection reports to Executive Management teams
• Negotiate payment terms with clients on past due invoices to facilitate realization of cash receipts
• Coordinate with the billing and cash application teams regarding outstanding items
• Prepare and present detailed reports utilizing Elite, 3E, and Advanced Excel skills
• Lead AR & Collection related workflow projects
• Hire, Train, and manage collections staff

Skills

• Professional service industry related experience, (Law Firm, Public Accounting, Engineering, etc)
• Ability to work in office 3/2 schedule
• Ability to lead by example in this "hands on" role
• Aderant, Elite, 3E coupled with Advance Excel skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
