Physician Surgery - Neuroendovascular

Overview We are looking for a skilled doctor to join our growing team in the neurosciences program at a hospital that also serves as a Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities You will perform different types of brain and spine surgeries, especially if you have training in neuroendovascular surgeries (a special type of brain surgery). You will work in a busy emergency department that sees about 100,000 patients each year. You will use modern imaging and tools to help with diagnosis and surgery. You will also help patients recover from strokes. If you want, you can be involved in teaching and mentoring new doctors. You will work in a team-focused environment that values collaboration, new ideas, and putting patients first. Qualifications You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of completing your residency) in Neurological Surgery - THIS IS REQUIRED (no exceptions). You need to have an MD or DO degree - THIS IS REQUIRED. You should have experience in doing brain and spine surgeries (this must be noted in additional documents) - THIS IS REQUIRED. Training or experience in neuroendovascular surgery is highly preferred. You must have an active Michigan medical license (or be in the process of getting one) - THIS IS REQUIRED. You need to obtain a DEA license (required before starting). You also need a CSR/CDS license (required before starting). Certification Requirements Board Certified Board Eligible State License Requirements Must be licensed in Michigan.
